GOAL Digital Academy is proud to celebrate the success of its Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program during the first half of the 2024-2025 school year. This initiative reflects GOAL’s commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students, staff, and families.
PBIS is a proactive approach to improving student behavior, enhancing academic performance, and creating a school culture that celebrates achievement and respect. At GOAL Digital Academy, the program has been tailored to meet the unique needs of its online students, focusing on recognizing positive actions and building meaningful connections with the community by extending engagement opportunities both digitally and in person.

The PBIS program has recognized numerous student milestones and fostered a strong sense of community by involving staff and families in school activities. Key achievements and initiatives include:
Over 300 students earned a place on the honor roll during the first semester.
64 students were recognized as Student of the Month.
Attendance Awareness Month: Focus on Improving Attendance.
Attendance Spirit Week: Focus on Improving Student Participation & Engagement.
Lab Events: Local in-person activities for students and families.

To foster positive behavior and student engagement, the PBIS team has organized various GOAL Goes Live events across all seven GOAL Labs during the first half of the year, including:

The PBIS program has significantly contributed to school culture and staff development while celebrating the dedication of its team members. Key initiatives include:
“Burning Questions” Competition to bolster relationships between staff and students.
Partnership with WorkWell to support staff growth.
Recognition of staff contributions through the "Recognizing Greatness Awards”.
